Tuscaloosa Tea Party – On the Quad
Posted on March 31, 2009 by Alabama Tea Blogger
The Tuscaloosa Tea Party has been approved for the northeast corner of the Quad on April 15th from 5-7:30! We’re thankful to sites like alabamateaparty.net for helping spread the word. If you’re in the Tuscaloosa area and can make it, we’d love to see you out there. We’ll have free Monroe Sausage dogs (so everyone can take a bite out of pork) and, of course, sweet tea to drink, as well as some great speakers.
One thing we’d love to have from anyone who is coming is to go to our facebook event page and invite all your friends. The event is open, so anyone can invite anyone on their friend list and include a message for them to do the same thing. We think this could be a good way to get the ball rolling. That page can be found here: http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=161542420216&ref=ts
For updated information on our event, visit this site, http://www.alabamateaparty.net/, and check out our main sponsor’s site: http://www.squarewon.org/
There are a lot of motivated people in our state and around the country that are determined to make this tax day the beginning of one of the largest grassroots movements in the history of our country – one that will force the big spending politicians on Capitol Hill (Democrats and Republicans alike) to stand up, take notice, and take responsibility. So, whether you show up in Tuscaloosa, Birmingham, Montomery, Mobile, or any one of the other events, please come out and be a part of this historic event that will send a clear message to our elected officials!

I’m in but why doesn’t this event appear on the calendar on the state Tea Party page?
