With the upcoming Alabama Primary election next Tuesday (June 1st), may people have asked, “Who does the Tea Party Endorse”?
The answer is that some Tea Party groups around the state have endorsed or support candidate, but statewide there has not been an endorsement by the collective groups.
The best information I have for everyone is a document I found posted on RainyDayPatriots.org. It is a Voter Guide which covers all the races and notes the candidates who have engaged the Tea Party groups in our state. You can find the Voter Guide Here.
The race for New York District 23 has become a symbol of the expectation conservatives have for their representatives. Almost every conservative who is willing to stick to their values has endorsed Doug Hoffman from the Conservative Party over the (moderate/liberal) Republican candidate Dede Scozzafava. Hoffman’s endorsements have come from some real heavyweights from around the country. Some of them include Rush Limbaugh, Mark Levin, Sean Hannity, Sarah Palin, Fred Thompson, and Dick Armey.
Today, I’m glad to say Alabama Tea Party.Net has decided to endorse Doug Hoffman as well. If you would like to find out more about Doug, visit his website and consider making a donation to his campaign. This special election will be held next Tuesday.
Many on the Left believed the Tea Party crowds were forming because the Republicans took a significant thrashing in the 2008 elections. Or that the racist Americans were angry over the election of the first African-American president. I cannot begin to tell you how wrong those people are. I have talked to numerous people around the state, and most do not care if a candidate belongs to the Republican Party. People just want a candidate who shares their conservative values. Doug Hoffman is that candidate.
Regardless of the result next week, the message will be sent. Conservative Americans have decided to support conservative candidates, and not just support the largest opposition party.
