So what can you do about it? The Tea Party Patriots set up a site for you to post a video of yourself saying “I am the Tea Party Leader”. Follow the steps below to participate. Once you are done, come back here and post a link to your YouTube video in the comments. I will then add it to this post, so others can see the ones from Alabama.
I can’t believe I’m actually asking this question. However, with the events of the last year and a half, I believe it is important for Americans to contemplate their political resolutions for 2010. In the comments section below, I’m asking you to leave me your New Year’s resolutions and political goals for the upcoming year. I encourage you to keep it productive, but whatever statement you would like to make is welcomed. We look forward to your comments.
The race for New York District 23 has become a symbol of the expectation conservatives have for their representatives. Almost every conservative who is willing to stick to their values has endorsed Doug Hoffman from the Conservative Party over the (moderate/liberal) Republican candidate Dede Scozzafava. Hoffman’s endorsements have come from some real heavyweights from around the country. Some of them include Rush Limbaugh, Mark Levin, Sean Hannity, Sarah Palin, Fred Thompson, and Dick Armey.
Many on the Left believed the Tea Party crowds were forming because the Republicans took a significant thrashing in the 2008 elections. Or that the racist Americans were angry over the election of the first African-American president. I cannot begin to tell you how wrong those people are. I have talked to numerous people around the state, and most do not care if a candidate belongs to the Republican Party. People just want a candidate who shares their conservative values. Doug Hoffman is that candidate.
Regardless of the result next week, the message will be sent. Conservative Americans have decided to support conservative candidates, and not just support the largest opposition party.
I’m contently checking out websites for updated information, so I see a lot of junk during the day. So I must admit, when I watched the video below regarding the upcoming protest in Washington D.C., I didn’t need that second cup of coffee at 8 o’clock in the morning. If you are going to Washington on September 12th, wave your flag with a little more vigor for me. If your not going, send your Congressperson an email or give’em a call to let them know you are there in spirit.
What are you doing on the 4th of July? I can’t think of anything more patriotic than to attend a Tea Party and share my love of my country with several thousand like minded people. Here’s a promo for the Huntsville Tea Party, and stay posted for other announced events in the coming weeks.
