So what can you do about it? The Tea Party Patriots set up a site for you to post a video of yourself saying “I am the Tea Party Leader”. Follow the steps below to participate. Once you are done, come back here and post a link to your YouTube video in the comments. I will then add it to this post, so others can see the ones from Alabama.
This week the government study on mammograms has been front and center. It stated women should wait until they are 50 years old to get regular mammograms, where in the past 40 years of age was the suggested age. The government has backpedaled on this some, but the damage was done. I even received an email from a reader this week and I thought I would share it with you. This is what Dawn had to say.
“We plan to protest the imposed government mammogram program of waiting till your 50. All women interested in protesting the health care issues should attend. This IS a grassroots movement. They are messing with momma and we are pissed! When momma aint happy nobody is happy!”
Join these ladies if you can.
WHAT: Health Care Rally
DATE: November 23rd
WHEN: 4-7pm
WHERE: Brookwood Mall
Update from Dawn:
We are planning on gathering around 4:30pm. Sarah Palin is signing books from 4:30-7:30 in the mall. We are going to meet on the sidewalks that run parallel to the mall property, but are public property. They run along the edge of Lakeshore and the creek in front of Brookwood mall. We are all wearing shades of pink if possible. I will have some blank poster-board for those who may need it, but bring a marker.
Thanks for sharing. This is a true grassroot movement and we welcome the men too! They don’t have to wear pink though. : )
