The Democratic party has begun closing its tent to moderates, and today we saw the first casualty. Parker Griffith who servers the people of North Alabama’s 5th Congressional district, announced today he will now caucus with the Republicans in the House of Representatives. Personally I do not believe it will save his political career, but I liked his explanation for leaving, “Principles”. Why did he not realize the Democrats lacked his principles a year ago?
