Conservative Talk Shows in Alabama

Posted on April 18, 2009 by Alabama Tea Blogger

I feel very fortunate to live in a red state like Alabama, because I can turn on the radio and listen to conservative talk radio from border to border. If you want to know what left-wing radio sounds like, you easily can find one on the internet. I did that once, and all I heard were two stoners talking about how good smoking marijuana was for you. I’ve lived in the Huntsville area for 8 years, and the quality of talent WVNN brings in to our market has always amazed me. By the way, Sean Hannity got his start in Huntsville. Currently, the morning host at WVNN, Dale Jackson, has done a wonderful job promoting conservative values in the Tennessee Valley. However, Republicans should not come looking for a free pass on his show. He recently roasted Republican Hale Irwin for his character and legislative passed, and I must admit it was hilarious.  Here’s the audio of the interview.
As the Tea Party/Conservative movement gains momentum, I believe it is important for us to support the fine conservative talent this state fosters on its radio stations. If you have a radio station that carries conservative talk radio in your area, leave a comment along with a link and shout out to your favorite on air personalities.

I never rely on the radio to listen to conservative talk shows. Here’s a link to many radio stations who stream the shows on the net.

89.1 FM in the Mobile area is one of the American Family Radio Stations which has gone to a conservative talk format. I like the way they present the current news from a Christian perspective. Many of their programs feature hosts like Michael Reagan, Wall Builders, and Faith and Family. Issues that are discussed include Climate Change, Stem Cell Research, National Defense, Taxes, and they have presented information I haven’t heard on other shows.
