Sample Ballots for June 1st Primary

Looking for a sample ballot in your county?  Find your 2010 Primary Election Sample Ballots here.

By the way, I have been working on my wife who grew up in a Democrat household (parents were teachers).  Finally last week she asked her doctor about the direction of healthcare in our country.  After giving her a few answers she replied, “That’s Socialism!”  After she explained all this to me, “I said so are you going to vote next week or not?”  To which she replied, “Just tell me who to vote for!”  I’m printing out a sample ballot for her, so she can take it to the polls.  Will you do the same for someone you are close to?

Tea Party Voter Guide

With the upcoming Alabama Primary election next Tuesday (June 1st), may people have asked, “Who does the Tea Party Endorse”?

The answer is that some Tea Party groups around the state have endorsed or support candidate, but statewide there has not been an endorsement by the collective groups.

The best information I have for everyone is a document I found posted on RainyDayPatriots.org.  It is a Voter Guide which covers all the races and notes the candidates who have engaged the Tea Party groups in our state.  You can find the Voter Guide Here.

Alabama GOP Targets Corruption in 2010

It is obvious the strategy Alabama’s Republicans will take into the 2010 state elections, “CORRUPTION”.  Who can blame them?  From border to border districts around the state have Democrats serving time behind bars. It will be interesting to see how this plays out at the ballot box.  Below is the video released by the Alabama GOP.

Alabama State Sovereignty Bill Introduced

The government’s attempt to take over health care is on the forefront of everyone’s thoughts right now, but what else can we do besides attend town halls, email, and make telephone calls? Well, several states have been busy passing 10th Amendment legislation in order to stop the government from interfering with State’s Rights. The 10th Amendment states, “The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.” During the last session, Alabama House Representative Mac Gipson of Prattville, introduced HJR 403 to address Alabama’s rights under the 10th Amendment. Since they are currently in a special session, Gipson reintroduced it, and its new number is HJR 10 (AL State Sovereignty Bill). In short, since Health Care is not stated in the Constitution, it is up to Alabama to determine whether we have a socialized health care plan. Read the bill on Dale Jackson’s Blog.

Contact Montgomery and let them know you what this voted on pronto.
