Alabamians Head to 9-12 March on D.C.
Posted on July 29, 2009 by Alabama Tea Blogger
National organizers have been planning the Taxpayers March on Washington on 9-12-09, and many Alabamians are making plans to participate. This event comes from Glenn Beck’s 9-12 Project, whose goal is to return America to the place we were on 9-12-01, “United“. Groups from the Huntsville Tea Party, Athens Tea Party, Morgan County Tea Party, and Muscle Shoals Tea Party will be traveling together, leaving on Friday morning and coming back Sunday night. Price including bus, hotel and tax for one person rooming with 3 other people is $187. This is a really good deal, and this is the chance of a lifetime to make your voice heard on the steps of our nation’s capitol! Go here to register http://shoals2dc.webs.com/travelwithus.htm. The Shelby County/Birmingham Tea Party have also been organizing for this event as well. They have four different price options, depending on the number of people who sign up with you. Here’s a link for more information. I wish all of you going safe travels, and hope you have a great time changing our nation.
If you know of other groups going to this event, please post them in the comments.

Hello Alabama,
I am from Atlanta, but originally from Alabama. I attended the very first tea party here in Atlanta in February. It has been fun to be a part of something so important.
I have started a new website, http://www.ConsitutionalConventionPetition.com as an internet based signature registration site calling for a constitutional convention to impeach our Socialist President Barack Hussein Obama. Please visit it, and sign if you want to, we are almost at 10,000 signatures since we launched on July 4th.
