Alabama Tea Party Network Ranked in Top 25

Posted on May 05, 2010 by Alabama Tea Blogger

While Alabamians expect our football teams to be ranked in the top 25, it did come as a surprise to me when I found this site was ranked the 16th best Tea Party Blog in a resent poll on OnlineDegrees.net.  If you check out the ranking you will find several well known national sites such as the Tea Party Express, Tea Party Patriots, and Michelle Malkin.  It’s an honor to be mentioned in the same poll as some of these sites.  However, this site would not be possible without the cooperation of Tea Party and Conservative groups around the state.  But most of all, the readers and subscribers of this site have been the most essential part of our success.  Thanks to all of you for connecting with us online.  From the beginning, our goal has been to spread the word, and this can’t be done without you.

The so-callled Wall Street reform bill creates yet another fedral government agency, Consumer Financial Protection Aency, with unlimited authority to takeove any bank and i creates a liquidtionfundfor the FDIC to enure future bailouts without judicial review. This attempt to nationalize the banks dos nthing to reform Fanie and Freddieor address the Cmunity Reinvestment Act that mandated risky loans. Instead of fighting the ationalization of yet another industry I am conerned that Richard Shely is trying to make a deal with democrats throuh amendments that Obama will veto anyway rather than oppose this bill for the bad idea it is.

Shame that you lost the only writer you had since this time. The content on this website which I used to read & tweet about daily has drastically changed. There is no longer any interesting or valid postings it has become just another dull, boring website without any new information or insight. Of course I am sure this comment with be disapproved even though it is not profane just an honest assessment of the job being done here in past month or so.

I have a question and this is for all TEA PARTY members….I don’t vote PARTY. I vote on the basis of the morals of the candidate, and I know most of you do to, are we endorsing candidates for November, and even if we’re not, where are the Bio’s on these men and women. I see who is running, but I know little if anything of these people.

So can one of you throw me a clue, so I can make my own decisions and tell me where to find this?

    Thank you

Delete Post Edit Blog Posts The Title is correct, I have been drafted to find out if there is positive sentiment around the Alabama Grassroots, Patriot , liberty…..and so on. Basically Local Tea Party groups; We are all aware of the importance of us being able to vote as a block. This will increase our power both locally, and statewide. Not to mention in November. Tenn. And NH. have started what they call a Tea Party coalition, A coalition is automonous groups who join to facillitate communication and event organization. This is not an effort to replace any existing group simple to help keep us all more informed and being informed in a timely manner. This is an idea a proposal perhaps. Anyway the question is are you interested in persuing this type organization? Keep in mind this is not an effort to replace any of the numerous groups. Its purpose to to make it easier to communicate and faster too. please visit us at the TeaParty Patriots forum for further info.

“Attraction rather than promotion”. Not afilliated with a candidate or a party. To give credit to the source of these charter tenets which is AA. They have used these successfully. People of like mind and common objectives “putting principals above personalities”.

I belive the attraction of the Tea Party is the “lack of structure and pecking order”. The political parties have wrecked our government and most collapsed our monetary system. Unless the People have the will to force the government to de-centralize and our 50 States become re-engaged the Congress of these United States will sink this Big Ship.

Our Founders had vision and foresaw this coming. All you have to do is read the Federalist Papers. The “Dollarcrats” are trying to convince us that our Constitution us outmoded and “Is just a piece of paper”. They think we need a one world government, military and monetary system! Now how does “that” adhere to THE UNITED STATES CONSTITUTION?? Sovereignity is ALL that will do ……. Let us keep that ever most in our purpose.

Citizens of Alabama have at this moment the individual power, collectively applied, to
deman that every candidate for office state his position on ballot access for third parties.
In presidential races, a viable third party candidate might be a “spoiler” but nearly all political races are local. The state of Alabama imposed the strictest restrictions on ballot accessin the nation to protect the Republican/Democrat candidates from real debate.
I am not asking the tea party to form an independent party, or to endorse any third party. I am asking the tea party movement of citizens to look at the laws of Alabama and simply ASK our representitive candidates if they intend to maintain a forced monopoly on power or to re-open the ballots to alternative candidates in a manner similar to those of most other states.
Let’s get these candidates on the record, see if they are here for us or for themselves.
