I often listen to Mark Levin, and he often shares the horror stories for the Canadian and UK Health Care systems. This is a system Americans want no part of, but the liberals in Washington D.C. are trying to convince us it is a right. National organizers have been planning the Taxpayers March on Washington on 9-12-09, and many Alabamians are making plans to participate. This event comes from Glenn Beck’s 9-12 Project, whose goal is to return America to the place we were on 9-12-01, “United“. Groups from the Huntsville Tea Party, Athens Tea Party, Morgan County Tea Party, and Muscle Shoals Tea Party will be traveling together, leaving on Friday morning and coming back Sunday night. Price including bus, hotel and tax for one person rooming with 3 other people is $187. Congresswomen Claire McCaskill’s staff held a town hall on health care reform in St. Louis. They knew many Tea Party supports would be there, but I don’t think the expected this (See Video Below). The thing I love about this was the peaceful and enthusiastic support these people demonstrated.
